Mathieson & Brooke Tailors are visiting tailor service renowned for their unique slant on contemporary made-to-measure wear. Designing my own golf clothing has been great fun and I couldn’t believe how affordable it can be!!! By working with David at M&BT, I get the chance to choose the fabrics I like and then have trousers made to the specific style and I detailing want. I get to choose the cut of the trousers (flat fronted, front pleat, straight leg, bootcut etc.)., front and rear pocket styles and the fit. I then get to add things like, coloured vents, coloured side seem detailing, button options, I can even things embroidered on the rear pocket!! Because these trousers have been made to my exact fit and requirements, they are the most comfortable trousers I’ve ever played in. On top of that, I know that I will never turn up to the first tee and find my playing partner wearing the same thing every again!!! When I first met David he talked to me about the psychology of how feeling good in what you wear can improve your confidence and thus performance (David has a Degree in Psychology!!) and I have to admit he’s right!! Within weeks of receiving my new trousers, I won the Haughschlag Austrian Open.
